I am a retired occupational therapist who specialized in rehab and hand therapy. The photo you present looks very typical of high quadriplegia, C5 or above. The contractures in the photo are typical of no innervation from C6,7,8,T1. Also, there is considerable atrophy in the forearm and hand.

thank u grace young. You are correct. If both median and ulnar nerves are involved you can have similar appearance too. you have a nice blog.
